The default is for no automatic notifications via email unless you set that up in your profile. That caught me out initially.

just another minor gripe. As a stats obsessed weirdo I oft frequent the 'members' section and look at post counts... You can still easily sort by number of posts but there's now no 'rank'/number next to the user, making it harder to tell who's the all important 12th highest poster.

Copy / paste into excel then do a monthly report as to most active posters etc.

Ooh, I found "Edit notification options" on my profile. The e-mail box wasn't checked for all options. Not sure why. I got them before. Somehow reset at upgrade?

Anyway, I've now ticked all the boxes, and will feedback if this sorts the problem.

Just noticed I can add people as friend or foe! What does adding as a foe do - stop me seeing their posts?

it automatically hides the posts but gives you the option of looking at the posts on an ad hoc basis.

All old avatars can now be downloaded here:

Simply find your one and upload it to your account.

Despite being a fan of all things bleeding edge, I'm still finding it a pain that when you click on a link it doesn't open in a new window.

Any chance of implementing this please: https://www.phpbb.com/support/docs/en/3 ... w-windows/

I know, but I have to remember to do that. Much easier just to get the boss to sort it.

It would be a good idea to have the title (theoptom.com) at the top of the page as a a clickable link back to the homepage

Would users have a like score next to their username? Might start to look a bit cliquey.

I gave over using a forum that had a kudos point system, it made me want to barf.

I wasn't thinking of a score system - just a button.
