Don't ask but somehow I've ended up with two M-Pods (MPSii in a different box!). ...

So flogging one! I've got the software and various electronic materials to go with it. Any reasonable offer considered, bearing in mind they go for 6500+VAT new and about 3-4k + VAT second hand. Can post to anywhere in UK providing your willing to pay p&p!!! I'm based in London if you're thinking of collecting. I'm not VAT registered so no VAT to pay on any offers!

Actual kit is great, I use it as part of routine eye exam for adult patients, makes for a good clinic builder.

Just to clarify... I consider reasonable offer to be anything around 1k onwards. Thanks! Smile

I'm sure if I was interested in one, i'd know, but what is it you're selling?

quick scanner thing that measures macula pigment density - can be used to pre-determine those at risk of AMD or to gauge deterioration/supplement affect (possibly?)

Exactly what LFL said,

it's a device which measures the level of macula pigment which is a predictive factor for macula degeneration and disease progression. So it's pretty snazzy to offer to your patients.

From a business perspective it's good for the practice:
1) New appointment types "Macula Wellbeing" etc
2) More frequent appointments - reviews of macula pigment level etc
3) sale of supplements resulting from assessment
4) practice loyalty growth

Instrument page on BiB: https://www.bibonline.co.uk/products/mps-ii There's a leaflet/article on there about the importance of macula pigment

Basic test is pretty quick, a few minutes per eye. Detailed testing takes longer but I only ever do that if indicated.
