I've had a pm sitting in the outbox for 24 hrs now. Why won't it send please?

Its probably because the recipient has'nt 'opened' the PM.
Hope im not wrong on this one

My understanding is the same as Lions. Only leaves your outbox when it has been read.

Yep, this.
Means you can edit it up to the point it is read.
I asked one of my patients to describe the symptoms...
