Yeah it's a problem. I have no experience with Azure/AWS.

Just had a chat with these guys and was impressed: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/webhost.uk.net
Has everything I'm looking for except the green credentials but I can simply offset the carbon footprint by using https://onetreeplanted.org which I do anyway for my business.

Thinking of their Linux Business Cloud package.

I think webhost.uk.net are who our LOC has used for a few years. Never had a problem.

I see there packages offer a downloadable daily backup - I wonder if you could automate this through an frp script.

We will be moving hosts within 48hrs. I went with one of the top rated UK hosts on trustpilot 365hosts (61 reviews, all of which gave them 5 stars!).
The forum software has also been updated to the latest version. Let me know if any probs,

I forgot to say the latest software update apparently corrects some "authentication issues" so it might be related to login issues some users here reported. Might not make any difference however. You can try it by clearing browser cache and delete cookies (see bottom of page).

It's certainly moving along nicely. Did Santa leave us a more reliable backup procedure under the tree?

The host takes a daily offsite backup at 2am UK time (that was another reason I chose them). I take my own backup also but it'll probably be once a week.

As 2019 draws to a close, I agree with Ned.
