This is so unexpected.... I dont even have a speech prepared.
I am a member of several forums, so I had a reasonable idea on how to do things before starting this one, i.e. I learned from other people's mistakes
. Also, I am big fan of people power, so my preference is for self-moderation, with me as a back-up if needed. A forum will generally reflect the effort level put in by its members, like most systems in the world I might add.
So, as much as I'd like to take the credit for it all, erm, I am only one part of the team.
ps - it could also be because I am too lazy to be heavily involved in moderation
