No 'e' please! My birth town, Bridgnorth that is, although I know Liverpool reasonably well. Anyway, as I live in Chester I will alert local colleagues.

Hang on. BRIDGNORTH is not far from the Black Country. Liverpool is not far from Manchester. How is that one job?

I reckon if you lived in Stoke it’s about an hour each way. But then you’d have to live in Stoke.

One of my former Px's actually owned & operated the historic funicular railway in Bridgnorth many years ago. Most unusual job description although perhaps not the strangest, I think that went to a "banana ripener" in the Birmingham wholesale markets.
