I think the answers
here show a far less black and white situation.
It has quickly run up interesting polls and hopefully more to come.
A further break down of the most responded choice would be even more interesting.
One only has to look at the Guest numbers to gauge 'outside interest'.
True, this is very approximate and members' log-ins can apparently so appear if timed out .. BUT access is open to all comers.
Maybe you would give us the alternatives' links and say if such offer open access or are restricted to their own 'brand' followers.
We could then judge whether this alone and/or the other forums are ..

Perhaps some are so secret they do not show anywhere and therefore are truly irrelevant to the majority.
Independence is a state of mind. All else follows.
