I see this site as a way of chillin at the end of a hectic day....
...having a giggle is the best way to get away from Optics!

I like to giggle as much as most. I could do that on any forum. The reason why I chose this forum is to learn from those with superior knowledge and unwind with the non-optical stuff at the same time. I do feel that the flirting has become a bit boring (I know I've flirted with OB but she is a bit special) and TGTF and the 3 word post has had its day.
Only my humble opinion of course.

In my defence, your honour, and seeing as I started the three word post and that I write in TGTF I think that the 3 word post is an interesting concept - to convey a message in a microcosm. I also feel that TGTF and TGTFII are good excuses to enjoy creative writing (or at least it is for me) and it is interesting to co-write a story where you only have, at best, limited control over the journey of the story.
And, eagle, I promise not to flirt with you.

Message received you bulky hunk.
3 word post was great initially when it was creative. Too easy to cheat now spreading any old tat over half a dozen posts. Funny at first but old hat now.
TGTF - not qualified to comment in all truth as I no longer observe. Good luck to all devotees however.

I'm afraid I agree on the three word post, started fine but 88 pages is a bit OTT and everyone cheats - thought it was me that first cheated but looking back it was the boss so I have changed my mind and decided this is perfectly acceptable.
TGTF.. not into the new one as much - perhaps when/if it gets going but did thoroughly enjoy the original
Flirting, well I'm sure it would be more enjoyable if I wasn't tied down and was on the prowl

But TGTF II is so fresh, virginal, unsullied - how can you not love it?lad_from_leeds wrote:TGTF.. not into the new one as much - perhaps when/if it gets going but did thoroughly enjoy the original
Okay - 3 word post needs to die.
2 word post may be too dangerous, so 4 word post anyone?
Oh, and I forgot, 'why mr eagle, sir' flutter, flutter, giggle, 'loks and golly what's a simple peasant bear to do with a fancy city eagle like you sir, why I'm sure I've just got to milk some cows, loks' giggle, flutter, blush.
